Okay, so I’ve been hooked on this game called MultiVersus lately. It’s pretty fun, you know, with all those characters from different Warner Bros. stuff duking it out. But what really caught my eye was the battle pass. They have a free one, which is cool, but I was wondering if it’s really worth the grind.
So, I decided to dive in and see what this free battle pass is all about. First off, I launched the game and navigated to the battle pass section. There it was, a track with a bunch of rewards, and most importantly, it said “FREE” on it. No money needed, sweet!

Breaking Down the Free Battle Pass
- Started playing matches, trying out different characters. I was mostly sticking to my favorites, Batman and Wonder Woman.
- Earned XP by just playing, winning matches, and completing those daily and seasonal challenges they have.
- Watched as the battle pass bar slowly filled up. It took a while, not gonna lie.
- Unlocked some stuff along the way. Some gold, which is the basic in-game currency, and some toasts, which you can give to other players after a match as a sort of “good game” gesture.
- Got a few other things like banners and icons to customize my profile. Nothing too fancy, but hey, it’s free.
I kept at it for a few days. Played a couple of hours each day after work. It was a bit of a grind, especially when I had a losing streak. But I pushed through, completed those challenges, and finally reached the end of the free battle pass track.
In the end, I got a decent amount of gold, enough to unlock a new character, which was pretty awesome. I picked up Bugs Bunny. Also, I grabbed a bunch of other small stuff that’s nice to have. Was it worth it? I’d say yeah, especially if you’re not looking to spend any money. It’s a good way to get some extra stuff and feel like you’re progressing. Plus, it made me try out different characters and strategies, which is always fun.
So, if you’re playing MultiVersus and don’t want to shell out cash for the premium battle pass, the free one is definitely something to go for. Just be prepared to put in some time and effort. It’s not a walk in the park, but it’s rewarding enough. And remember you can unlock more characters with gold!
