Alright, so today I wanted to mess around with Genesect in Pokémon Go, specifically the Burn Drive version. Let me tell you, it wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it would be.
First off, I opened up Pokémon Go and checked my inventory. I realized I didn’t even have a regular Genesect yet, let alone the Burn Drive one. So, step one was to get my hands on a Genesect. I remembered that they sometimes appear in raids, so I started monitoring the raid notifications.
After a couple of days, boom! A Genesect raid popped up nearby. I grabbed my phone, rushed out the door, and joined the raid with a bunch of other trainers. It was a tough battle, but we managed to take down the Genesect. And guess what? I caught it! My first Genesect, finally.
Now, about that Burn Drive. I dug around in my items and found that I didn’t have one. Apparently, you get these Drives through special research or events. I checked the news and saw that there was a research task going on that rewarded a Burn Drive. Perfect timing.
This research was no joke. I had to complete a whole bunch of tasks like catching a certain number of Pokémon, winning a few raids, and even hatching some eggs. It took me a while, but I powered through. I walked kilometers, battled in gyms, and kept spinning those PokéStops.
Finally, I completed the last task. There it was – the Burn Drive. I went to my Pokémon storage, selected my Genesect, and tapped on the item section. I found the Burn Drive and used it on Genesect. And just like that, my Genesect transformed into the Burn Drive form. It looked so cool with that fiery cannon on its back.
I was pretty stoked. I took my newly equipped Genesect to a few battles, and it was awesome seeing it in action with those fire-type moves. All that effort definitely paid off.
