Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this character skin thing, right? You know, from that anime, Jujutsu Kaisen? I wanted to see if I could get a decent Yuji Itadori skin going.
I started by just kind of browsing around, looking for some inspiration. I found some pretty cool examples, but nothing that really clicked, you know? Like, they were either too detailed, which is a pain, or just looked kind of wonky. I also had a really hard time figuring out the clothes.

So, I figured, screw it, I’ll just wing it. I decided to start with his hair. That’s kind of his most noticeable feature, right? That spiky, pink and black deal. I spent way too long trying to get the shape right. Kept going back and forth, changing little things here and there. Ugh, it was a struggle.
After I finally got something I was kind of okay with for the hair, I moved onto the face. Tried to keep it simple, but still capture his look. His eyes are pretty distinct, so I focused on those. Ended up making them a little bigger than I normally would. It looked good in the end.
Getting Sukuna’s Markings Right
- Next up, those Sukuna markings. Those were a real headache, let me tell you. So many tiny lines!
- I tried a few different approaches, making them super detailed at first, but it just looked too cluttered.
- Then I tried simplifying them, but they ended up looking like scribbles.
- Finally, after like, a million tries, I found a good middle ground. They’re still recognizable, but not overly complicated.
The clothes were, well, let’s just say they were a challenge. I spent way too long on his uniform, especially since most of the skin is just his face. I didn’t want to make it too detailed, but I didn’t want it to look like he was wearing pajamas either. Ended up somewhere in the middle.
And, yeah, that’s pretty much it. It’s not perfect, but I think it turned out alright. I’m no artist or anything, but I’m happy with how my Yuji Itadori skin turned out, even if it took way longer than it should have. The whole process was kind of a mess, but hey, that’s how it goes sometimes, right?
