Okay, so I’ve been grinding away at Elder Scrolls Online lately, and let me tell you, those Flame Atronach Crates are something else. I’ve been wanting that cool mount forever, and I finally decided to go all in.
First, I had to get some Crowns. I saved up a bit and then bought a decent chunk of them – gotta have enough to make it worth it, right? Then, I headed over to the Crown Store and found the Flame Atronach Crates section. They were right there, all glowy and tempting.

I started by buying just a few, you know, to test the waters. Opened them up one by one, holding my breath each time. I got some potions, some poisons, a few of those experience scrolls – nothing too exciting, but hey, it’s something.
Then I got braver. Bought a bigger pack of crates. Ripped through them a little faster this time. More potions, more poisons, but then… bam! A cool, flame-themed emote! Alright, we’re getting somewhere, I thought!
- First few crates: potions, poisons, experience scrolls.
- Bigger pack: more of the same, BUT a flame-themed emote!
- Even bigger pack: lots of little things, some cosmetics, still no mount.
So I went in for the kill. Bought the largest pack of crates they had. My heart was pounding, I won’t lie. Started opening them, one after another. Got a bunch of those little things again, a few more cosmetics, but still no mount. I was starting to sweat.
Finally, down to the last few crates. I clicked “open” and… another cosmetic. Ugh! One more left. This was it. I took a deep breath, closed my eyes, and opened the last crate.
And… still no mount!
After all that, no mount. It’s pretty annoying, to be honest. So I gave up trying to get that mount. But I got a bunch of other stuff, so I guess it wasn’t a total waste.
Anyway, that’s my Flame Atronach Crate story. It was a wild ride, full of ups and downs.
My takeaway
The crate system is not for weak heart.
