So, I’ve been eyeing this “Final Fantasy VII Remake & Rebirth Digital Deluxe Twin Pack” for a while now. I mean, who hasn’t, right? Finally took the plunge and got it. Gotta say, getting both games in one go, especially the deluxe versions, felt pretty good.
First off, downloading both games at once was a bit of a wait, but hey, expected that. While they were downloading, I kinda just stared at the screen, watching that progress bar slowly fill up. You know that feeling, right? Anticipation building up!

Getting Started
Once the download finished, I decided to boot up the “Remake” first. I’ve played the original Final Fantasy VII, like a million years ago, so going into this was pretty nostalgic. Seeing those familiar scenes but in, you know, actual modern graphics, was kind of a trip.
Played through a good chunk of “Remake,” got sucked into the story again, even though I kinda knew what was gonna happen. The combat is way different now, more action-packed. Took some getting used to, button-mashing wasn’t cutting it anymore. Had to actually, like, think about what I was doing. Imagine that!
Rebirth’s Turn
After a few days, figured I’d give “Rebirth” a shot. Fresh story, new places to see, all that good stuff. The world in “Rebirth” is massive, seriously. I spent hours just running around, checking every nook and cranny. I love to do it.
The combat in “Rebirth” feels like a step up from “Remake.” More characters, more abilities, it’s a lot to take in at first. But once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty satisfying pulling off those big combos. Felt like a real pro, not gonna lie.
Deluxe Goodies
- Artbooks: Flipped through the digital artbooks, pretty cool seeing the concept art and all that.
- Soundtracks: The music, oh man, the music. Both games have amazing soundtracks. Been listening to them on repeat, even when I’m not playing.
- Extra Items: Got some extra in-game items too, which, you know, always helpful.
Overall, this twin pack is a pretty sweet deal. If you’re a Final Fantasy fan, or even just curious about the series, I’d say it’s worth checking out. Just be prepared to lose a lot of hours, because these games are huge. Trust me, I know from experience now!
