Okay, here is my blog post about my experience with “Valorant Roulette”:
So, the other day, I jumped into this thing called “Valorant Roulette.” I heard about it from some friends who are way more into Valorant than I am. They were going on and on about how it spiced up their games. I figured, why not? I was getting a little bored of the usual grind anyway.

Basically, the idea is you spin a wheel, or use some kind of randomizer, and it picks an agent for you to play. Or it gives you some crazy challenge to do during the match. Sounded simple enough, right?
My first spin, I got Omen. Not my main, but I can handle him. The challenge was “Only use shotguns.” Oh boy. I usually play it safe with a Vandal or Phantom, so this was way out of my comfort zone. I ended up sneaking around a lot, trying to get close enough to actually do some damage. It was rough at first, but I actually started to have some fun with it.
- First round: Total disaster. I ran into a whole squad and got taken out before I could even get a shot off.
- Second round: A little better. I managed to flank two enemies and take them down with the Judge. Felt pretty good about that one.
- Third round: I got a little too confident and tried to rush B site. Big mistake. Got instantly headshot by a Jett with an Operator. Lesson learned.
After a few rounds of shotgun-only Omen, I decided to spin again. This time, I got Killjoy and the challenge was “No abilities.” So basically, I was just a Killjoy with a gun. It felt pretty weird not being able to use her turrets or mollies. I played super defensively, holding down sites and trying to catch enemies off guard.
My Overall Thoughts
Honestly, Valorant Roulette was way more fun than I expected. It forced me to play agents I wouldn’t normally pick and to use strategies I wouldn’t normally try. It was frustrating at times, but it definitely broke me out of my usual routine. I think I’ll give it another go sometime soon. Maybe I’ll even convince my friends to join me for a full squad of roulette madness!
Did I become a pro? No way. But, it did make me realize there are other ways to play the game, and other agents I can learn. If you are bored or stuck, try it, but don’t blame me if your rank takes a hit. It was a fun, stupid little experiment.
