Alright, so I’ve been hooked on Pokemon Go lately, and I really wanted to get my hands on a Machamp. You know, that buff Fighting-type Pokemon with four arms? Yeah, that one.
First things first, I had to catch a Machop. These little guys are not super common, but I did find a few hanging around gyms and Pokestops. It took me a while, walking around my neighborhood, throwing lots of Pokeballs, but finally, I had enough Machop candies to evolve one into a Machoke. Catching Machop was a bit of a grind, but it’s all part of the game, right?
Evolving into Machoke
- Gather Machop Candies: This was the longest part. I had to catch a bunch of Machops.
- Evolve: Once I had enough candies (25, I think), I just hit the evolve button on my best Machop. And boom, there’s Machoke!
Now, getting from Machoke to Machamp was a whole other story. You need 100 candies to do it the regular way. But, I found a shortcut! Trading. Yeah, if you trade a Machoke with someone, it evolves into Machamp without needing any candies. Sweet deal, huh?
Trading for Machamp
- Find a Friend: Luckily, I had a buddy who also played. He had a Machoke too.
- Trade: We met up, traded our Machokes, and watched them evolve.
- Celebrate: High fives all around! We both got a Machamp.
So, I traded with a friend who also had a Machoke. We met up, made the trade, and bam! Both of our Machokes instantly evolved into Machamps. No candies needed. It was awesome!
Having that Machamp now, it’s been a beast in battles. It’s super strong against Normal, Rock, and Steel types. I’ve been taking down gyms like crazy. Totally worth the effort.
If you’re trying to get a Machamp, I definitely recommend the trading route if you can. It saves you a ton of time and candies. Plus, it’s fun to do it with a friend. Happy hunting!
