Alright, so I got really into this game, FIFA 23, especially with Liverpool. I wanted to see how good I could make the team, you know? So I started messing around with the settings and lineups.
First, I checked out the current squad. Liverpool’s already got some beasts, like Salah and Van Dijk, but I figured there was room to improve. I spent some time looking at each player’s stats, trying to figure out who’s the best fit for each position.

Formation Tweaks
I played around with different formations. Started with their usual 4-3-3, but then I tried a 4-2-3-1 to see if I could get more attacking power. It was kinda cool, but I wasn’t totally convinced. Ended up sticking with the 4-3-3, just felt more balanced, you know?
Player Transfers
- Bought a new striker. I mean, the ones they have are good, but I wanted someone who could really bang in the goals. Looked around at some of the top scorers in other leagues, ended up grabbing a young talent who seemed promising.
- Sold a couple of midfielders. They were decent, but not really starters, so I figured I could get some good money for them and free up space in the squad.
- Promoted a few youngsters from the academy. Always fun to see if those guys can make it to the first team.
Training
Then came the training. This part took a while. I focused on improving the key stats for each player based on their position. Like, I made sure my defenders were working on their tackling and my attackers were practicing their finishing. Took a lot of time, but it was cool to see them improve.
Playing Matches
Finally, I started playing matches. It was awesome seeing my changes in action. The new striker was scoring goals, the defense was solid, and those academy players even got some game time. We won a bunch of games, even won the league! It was so satisfying seeing all that work pay off.
Honestly, it was a blast tweaking Liverpool in FIFA 23. I spent hours on it, but it was totally worth it. It’s cool how you can take a team and really make it your own in this game. If you’re into football and haven’t tried it yet, you totally should!
