So, I wanted to mess with the FOV in Ghostwire: Tokyo. Let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey.
Finding the Config File
First things first, I had to find where the game keeps its settings. Turns out, it’s tucked away in the Saved Games folder. I browsed to Saved GamesTangoGameworksGhostWire Tokyo (STEAM)SavedConfigWindowsNoEditor. Yep, that long path. Once I got there, I opened up with a simple text editor.

Making the Changes
Now, inside this file, I added a few lines at the very bottom:
- [/Script/*]
- AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV
This little snippet tells the game to keep the vertical FOV consistent, which is what I was after. I made sure to save the file after adding these lines.
Setting File Properties
But I wasn’t done yet. To prevent the game from overwriting my changes, I right-clicked on , went to Properties, and checked the Read-only box. Clicked Apply and OK. This way, the game can’t mess with my FOV settings.
Testing It Out
With all that done, I fired up Ghostwire: Tokyo. I adjusted the FOV in the game’s settings, and bam, it worked like a charm. No more feeling like I’m looking through a telescope. It was a bit of work, but totally worth it for that wider view.
So, there you have it. That’s how I tweaked the FOV in Ghostwire: Tokyo. It might seem a bit complicated, but once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty straightforward.
