Okay, here is my sharing about Golurk in Pokemon Go.
So, today I’m diving into the world of Pokemon Go, specifically about how I got my hands on Golurk. You know, it’s not every day you just bump into a Golurk, it’s a Ground/Ghost type, looks pretty badass if you ask me.
Getting Started
First off, I started grinding for Golett. That’s the little guy you need to evolve into Golurk. I spent a good few days just walking around, catching every Golett that popped up on my screen. It wasn’t easy, these little dudes aren’t exactly common. I even used some of those Incense things to lure more Pokemon to me, and some Lucky Eggs to double my XP.
The Grind
After I had a good stash of Golett candies, 50 to be exact, I was ready. But it wasn’t just about the candies. I also needed to get the right Golett, you know, one with decent stats. I used the appraisal feature in the game a lot, checking which Golett was worth evolving. Eventually, I found one that looked promising.
Evolving
With my best Golett and 50 candies, I hit that evolve button. And boom, there it was, my very own Golurk. It felt good, seeing all that effort pay off. But I didn’t stop there. I wanted to see what this beast could do in battles.
Battle Testing
I started using Golurk in raids and gym battles. This is where I experimented with different movesets. I learned that the hard way, losing a few battles before I got the hang of it. I found out that Mud-Slap was a pretty solid choice for a fast move, it deals decent damage and charges up energy pretty quick. For charged moves, I went with Earth Power and Poltergeist. Earth Power, being a Ground-type move, was super effective against a lot of types. And Poltergeist, well, it’s just a powerful Ghost-type move that could really throw opponents off guard.
Battling for the first time
- I remember my first raid battle with Golurk. I was up against a tough Tyranitar. I used Mud-Slap to build up energy fast.
- Then, I unleashed Earth Power. It hit hard, really hard. Seeing that “Super Effective” pop up on the screen was so satisfying.
- In another battle, I was facing a Blissey, a real tank. Poltergeist came in handy here. It dealt a good chunk of damage and helped me secure the win.
- By the way, I remembered that Primal Kyogre with Waterfall and Origin Pulse can reach 46.68 combat power, which is really a big deal in this game.
It’s been a fun ride, figuring out Golurk’s strengths and weaknesses. It’s not the strongest Pokemon out there, but it’s definitely fun to use. Plus, it looks cool, which is always a bonus.
