Okay, so, I was messing around with Pokemon Go again the other day, trying to catch ’em all, you know? And I realized I was kinda low on Fairy-type Pokemon. So, I started hunting for one, and guess what? I stumbled upon a Clefairy!
Now, I’ve seen Clefairy before, but they’re not exactly the most common Pokemon out there. I started searching for them using the radar. And the radar showed that they were mostly at some parks and in areas with a lot of other players. So, I decided to take a stroll around my local park. I kept my eyes glued to my phone, checking the “nearby” tab like a hawk. I walked around for a good 30 minutes, battling a few Pidgeys and Rattatas along the way, but no Clefairy.

Just when I was about to give up, I saw it – a little pink silhouette on my screen! I tapped on it so quickly, and there it was, a Clefairy, just chilling in the middle of the park. It was so small, it must have been around 2 feet tall and just 16.5 lbs. I threw a Pokeball, but it broke free! I was like, “No way, you’re not getting away that easily!” This little guy had a flee rate of 10%, so I needed to be quick.
I tossed another Pokeball, gave it a nice curve, and bam! Caught it! I was so excited. I checked its stats, and its CP was decent, around average. Also, I discovered that if I want to evolve this Clefairy into a Clefable I would need 50 candies. I am going to need more Clefairy for that!
Anyway, I decided to keep looking for them after that. I mean, if you’re trying to get that Fairy Tale Girl Medal, you gotta catch a bunch of Fairy Pokemon, right? I went to a few other parks and even tried at night since I heard they like full moons. I managed to catch a few more Clefairies and even a Jigglypuff. It took some time and a lot of walking around but I finally have enough Clefairys to do that.
Here is what I did in order:
- Started searching for Fairy Pokemon
- Decided to focus on Clefairy.
- Used the in-game radar to locate potential Clefairy spots.
- Went to a local park where they were said to appear.
- Searched for about 30 minutes with no luck.
- Spotted a Clefairy on the “nearby” tab and tapped on it.
- Engaged in a battle and threw a Pokeball.
- Failed the first attempt as the Clefairy broke free.
- Threw another Pokeball successfully on the second attempt.
- Caught the Clefairy and checked its stats.
- Decided to continue searching for more Fairy Pokemon.
- Visited other parks and tried searching at night.
- Caught a few more Clefairies and a Jigglypuff.
- Finally got enough Clefairy to evolve into Clefable!
So yeah, that’s my Clefairy adventure. It was a fun little challenge, and it made me appreciate those cute little Fairy Pokemon even more. If you’re looking for Clefairy, just be patient, check those parks, and maybe try your luck during a full moon!
