So, I got this idea to put together a fashion trivia quiz, right? Just for kicks, and to see how much my friends and I really know about the fashion world. I mean, we all love clothes and keeping up with trends, but how deep does our knowledge actually go?
I started by brainstorming all the things I could think of related to fashion. I wrote down everything, from famous designers, iconic pieces, to historical fashion moments. Then I looked online to see what others did. I found some cool quizzes about fashion industry trends and designers. And I thought, “Hey, this is exactly what I need.”

I spent a good few hours just jotting down questions. I wanted a mix of easy ones that everyone could get and some tougher ones to really test the fashionistas. I got my notebook and just started scribbling away. I ended up with a pretty big list, covering everything from “Who designed the little black dress?” to “What year did skinny jeans become popular?”
Here’s the tricky part: I needed answers, too. So I went on to make sure every question had a solid, correct answer. After, I typed everything up on my laptop, organizing the questions into different categories like “Designers,” “History,” “Trends,” and “Iconic Items.”
The next step was to make it fun. I didn’t want it to feel like a boring school test. So, I added some multiple-choice options, some true or false, and even a few “guess the year” type of questions. I figured this variety would keep everyone engaged.
- Which designer is credited with popularizing the “New Look” in the late 1940s?
- What fashion item did Mary Quant make popular in the 1960s?
- True or False: The stiletto heel was invented in the 1950s.
- In what decade did grunge fashion become a major trend?
- Which fashion capital is known for its minimalist and avant-garde designs?
Here’s a sneak peek at some of the questions I came up with:
Finally, I made it look all pretty. I’m no graphic designer, but I picked a nice, readable font and added some colors that felt stylish. Then, I printed out a few copies for my friends.
We had a blast! We got together, had some snacks, and went through the quiz. There were a lot of laughs, some “Aha!” moments, and even a few friendly debates. Turns out, we knew more than we thought, but there were still plenty of surprises.
It was a super fun way to spend an evening, and it definitely made me appreciate the world of fashion even more. Plus, now I have a cool fashion trivia quiz that I can use again for future get-togethers. Maybe I’ll even add some new questions and make it a regular thing!
