So, I’ve been grinding away at MLB The Show 23, specifically in Diamond Dynasty mode. It’s been a wild ride, and I thought I’d share my experience so far.
Getting Started with Diamond Dynasty
When I first jumped into Diamond Dynasty, I felt pretty overwhelmed. There are so many cards and modes, I didn’t know where to start. I started collecting a few cards and trying to figure out how everything worked.
Building My Team
I spent a lot of time opening packs and flipping cards on the marketplace. At first, I got excited for every diamond card I pulled, and it was a lot of fun trying to make a good team. I watched some videos online and it seemed like playing conquest and mini seasons was the move. They were right! I put in a ton of hours there.
Conquest and Mini Seasons
- Conquest: I started playing Conquest mode, which is like a strategy game where you try to take over territories. At first, I tried to just beat everyone quickly, but the computer kept beating me. Then, I started watching some videos online, and it seemed like I should be playing on the hardest difficulty. It was hard at first, but I got used to it, and it paid off! It’s a grind, but you get a lot of rewards for completing the maps, like packs and stubs.
- Mini Seasons: This is another offline mode where you play against other user’s teams, but it’s controlled by the computer. I played a lot of Mini Seasons. The games are shorter than regular games, and it’s good for finishing programs and getting rewards.
Grinding and Collecting
I kept grinding those modes, earning a ton of rewards. I completed some programs, which was super satisfying. I learned to save my stubs and only buy packs when there was a good deal. It was tough, but eventually, I pulled some really good cards, like 99 overall players.
My Current Team
After all that work, my team is looking pretty sick. I’ve got some of the best players in the game. I still have some goals I want to reach, but I’m really happy with how far I’ve come. I am really excited to play online with my team now.
Final Thoughts
Diamond Dynasty is a tough mode, but it’s also really rewarding. It takes a lot of time and effort, but if you’re willing to put in the work, you can build an amazing team. I’m excited to keep playing and see what else I can achieve. I’m looking forward to seeing how my team stacks up against other players online. Wish me luck, I am going to need it!
