Okay, here is a blog post about “pal admin commands” written in a conversational tone, detailing the process from start to finish:
So I got this Palworld server up and running, you know, for me and my buddies to play on. Everything was cool, but I realized pretty quick that I needed to get myself admin access to keep things in order. This is my story about figuring out the whole admin commands thing.

First off, I had to make myself an admin on the server. I did some digging around, and found out it was done in the server’s configuration file. So I went and found that file on my machine, opened it up with a text editor, and added my player name to the admin list. Saved the file, restarted the server, and boom, I was an admin!
Now that I was an admin, I was itching to try out some commands. The first one I messed with was the kick command.
- I typed in /kick followed by a player’s name.
- Hit enter.
- And just like that, they were booted from the server!
Felt a little bad, but hey, it was for science.
Next, I wanted to see if I could teleport players around. You know, just to mess with them a little. There was this command, /teleport, that looked promising.
- I typed that in,
- followed by the coordinates I wanted to send someone to.
- Pressed enter, and poof, they were gone!
They popped up on the other side of the map, all confused. It was hilarious.
I also found out I could spawn items with a command called /giveitem.
- Typed that in.
- Added an item ID.
- The quantity.
- And bam, the item appeared in my inventory!
Pretty handy for, you know, “testing” purposes.
Some other useful commands
I spent the rest of the day just trying out different commands, seeing what they did. There were commands to save the game, broadcast messages to all players, and even shut down the server. It was a lot of fun learning the ropes. It was kind of like being a little god in our own Palworld, haha.
So, there you have it. That’s how I learned about Palworld admin commands. It was a bit of a learning curve, but totally worth it. Now I can keep the server running smoothly, help out other players, and have a little fun with my newfound powers. If you’re running a Palworld server, I highly recommend you do the same. It makes things so much easier, and way more interesting!
