Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with the Haymaker in Warzone, trying to figure out the best way to set this thing up. It’s a shotgun, so you know it’s gonna be killer up close, but I wanted to see if I could make it even better. Here’s what I did.
First off, I started playing a bunch of matches just using the Haymaker with whatever attachments I had unlocked. I paid attention to how it felt – you know, the recoil, how fast it fired, how quickly I could aim down sights. Stuff like that. I took a lot of notes during this process.

Then, I started experimenting. I’d swap out one attachment for another and see how it changed things. Sometimes it was better, sometimes it was worse, sometimes it didn’t make much of a difference. It was a whole lot of trial and error, but it’s all good fun right?
My Haymaker Loadout Journey
After a ton of matches and way too many deaths, I think I finally nailed down a pretty solid loadout.
- Muzzle: I went with a muzzle that helps control the recoil. Makes it a bit easier to stay on target when you’re firing fast, or maybe that’s just me.
- Barrel: I chose a longer barrel to try to extend the range a bit. Shotguns are usually pretty useless at long range, but every little bit helps, I guess.
- Laser: This one was tough. But I end up with a laser to improve hip-fire accuracy. Useful for those times when you don’t have time to aim.
- Ammunition: I used some special ammo that increases the damage. I’m all about getting those one-shot kills. It’s so satisfying.
- Magazine: Extended mag all the way. More bullets mean more chances to hit your target. Plus, fewer reloads, which is always a good thing in a firefight.
I also messed around with different perks and secondary weapons. I found that having a good SMG or assault rifle as a backup is super helpful for those mid-range fights where the Haymaker struggles. And for perks, anything that helps with reload speed or movement speed is a good choice.
So yeah, that’s my Haymaker loadout journey. It took a while, but I think I’ve got something pretty good here. It’s definitely not perfect, and what works for me might not work for you. But hey, give it a shot and see what you think. And if you’ve got your own favorite Haymaker setup, let me know! I’m always down to try something new. At the end of the day we’re all here to have fun right?
