So, I was trying to play Dead by Daylight today, and I kept getting kicked out of the game. At first, I thought it was just my bad internet connection again. You know how it is, sometimes my Wi-Fi just decides to take a nap.
I tried restarting my router, even unplugged it for a good minute before plugging it back in, hoping that would fix things. But nope, still couldn’t stay connected to the game. Then I started wondering, “Is it just me or are the Dead by Daylight servers down?”
Troubleshooting My Connection
- First, I checked my internet speed. Seemed fine, everything else was working normally.
- Then, I restarted my computer, just in case. Sometimes that works wonders.
- I even disabled my firewall for a moment, thinking maybe it was blocking the connection.
But even after all that, I was still having issues. So I decided to do some digging online to see if others were experiencing the same problem.
Checking Online for Server Status
I went to a few different websites that track server statuses for games. Some folks were saying they were having trouble too, but it wasn’t like a massive outage or anything. It seemed kind of hit or miss. This game is one of the most popular live services after all. It is a multiplayer survival horror game, as far as I know.
After looking around a bit more, I found that there hadn’t been any major reported outages recently. The last one was way back in January. So, I’m still not sure what was going on today. Maybe it was just a temporary hiccup, or maybe it was something on my end that I couldn’t figure out.
