Alright, so I’ve been grinding ranked in League of Legends lately, and let me tell you, the struggle is real. But one thing I’ve been really focusing on is trying to figure out which ADCs are actually good in this meta. So, I decided to do a little experiment and make my own ADC tier list.
First, I hopped into a bunch of games, playing a variety of ADCs. I mean, we’re talking everything from the classics like Jinx and Caitlyn to some of the newer picks like Samira and Aphelios. I played a ton of games, trying to get a feel for how each champ performs in different matchups and team comps.

Gameplay
During these games, I really tried to pay attention to things like:
- Damage output: How much damage was I actually doing throughout the game?
- Survivability: How easy was it to stay alive in team fights and skirmishes?
- Utility: Did the champ have any useful tools besides just raw damage, like crowd control or mobility?
- Scaling: How well did the champ perform in the early, mid, and late game?
After each game, I would quickly jot down some notes. I made a simple ranking on a piece of paper, rating each ADC from S to D. S being the best, and D being, well, not so good.
I kept playing and refining my list. I started to notice some patterns. Certain champs just felt stronger overall. They could pump out tons of damage, had ways to keep themselves safe, and just generally felt impactful throughout the game.
For example, I found that Jinx was consistently performing well. Her rockets give her great range and area-of-effect damage, and her traps can be used both offensively and defensively. She also scales incredibly well into the late game. So, she quickly made her way to the top of my list. Samira, on the other hand, initially felt strong, but I realized that she’s easily countered by certain team comps and can be shut down pretty hard in the early game. So, I had to bump her down a bit.
Once I felt like I had a pretty solid list, I decided to test it out. I started focusing on playing the champs at the top of my list, and I have to say, my win rate definitely improved. I found myself carrying games more often and just generally having a bigger impact on the outcome.
Of course, this is just my personal experience, and your mileage may vary. But I think creating your own tier list can be a really helpful way to understand the current meta and find the champs that work best for you. This was a really fun experiment.
