Well, today I tried to take on some Guzzlord raids in Pokemon Go. Let me tell you, it was a journey!
First, I did some research about this Guzzlord. I found out it’s a Dark and Dragon type, which means it’s got some specific weaknesses. To make it easy to remember, I thought like “what would beat a dark dragon?”

So, I gathered my strongest Pokemon. I had Bug, Dragon, Fairy, and Fighting types all lined up. I made sure to power them up as much as I could, you know, max out those CP and get the best movesets.
Then, I looked for Guzzlord raids. I have to say, finding a Guzzlord raid is not so easy. It took some time to find them. I went to a few gyms in my area with friends, and we finally spotted a Guzzlord raid egg. We waited for it to hatch, fingers crossed.
- The first raid I joined had a good number of people. We jumped in, and my team of Fairy and Fighting types did pretty well. I used my Gardevoir with Charm and Dazzling Gleam, and it seemed to do a lot of damage. My Machamp with Counter and Dynamic Punch also really do its job.
- In another raid, it was tougher because there were fewer people. I tried using my Dragonite with Dragon Breath and Draco Meteor, but it felt a bit slow. I guess Dragon types are not the best choice here.
- I noticed that the other players were using a lot of Fairy types, and some had Togekiss with Charm and Dazzling Gleam. That seemed to be a popular and effective choice.
A few takeaways from today’s Guzzlord raid:
- Fairy types are the way to go.
- Fighting types are also a solid option.
- Bugs can work, but they might not be as strong as the other two.
- Dragon types… well, maybe save them for other raids.
I have to say, raiding Guzzlord is not an easy task, but it’s definitely doable with the right team. And remember, the more people you raid with, the better your chances. Also, make sure you have plenty of Revives and Potions, you will need them.
After a few tries, I finally caught a Guzzlord. It’s not a perfect one, but it’s still pretty cool to have this Ultra Beast in my collection. I will keep trying to get a better one, maybe with higher IVs and a better moveset.
Overall, it was a fun and challenging day of raiding. I learned a lot about Guzzlord and its weaknesses, and I’m excited to try again. Maybe next time I will have an army of Gardevoirs and Togekisses ready to go!
