Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this F1 24 game, specifically the Bahrain track, and I gotta say, getting the setup right is a real game-changer. At first, I was all over the place, couldn’t get the car to behave the way I wanted. I started by hopping into a few practice sessions, just trying to get a feel for the track and the car.
I fiddled with a bunch of different settings, but nothing was really clicking. I was either too slow on the straights or sliding all over the place in the corners. I realized I needed to do a bit more digging to figure this out.

My Setup Journey
I started looking around for some tips and tricks on how to set up the car, and I found a few ideas that I wanted to try out. It sounds like a lot of folks like to go with a setup that gives them a good balance between speed and handling. I mean, that makes sense, right?
- Tires: I messed with the tire pressures a bit, trying to find that sweet spot where I had enough grip but wasn’t burning through them too quickly. It seems like a lot of people go for a softer compound on this track, which I guess is because of all the corners.
- Suspension: I tightened up the suspension a little to help with the cornering, but I didn’t want to go too stiff, or else I’d be bouncing all over the place.
- Aero: I played with the downforce a bit, trying to find a good balance between straight-line speed and grip in the corners. It’s a bit of a trade-off, but I think I found a pretty good compromise.
After a lot of tweaking and testing, I finally landed on a setup that I’m pretty happy with. I was able to put in some consistent lap times, and the car felt really good to drive. It’s amazing how much of a difference a good setup can make. It’s not perfect, but it’s working for me.
Oh, and about the race strategy, I saw someone mention that two pit stops with two sets of softs and one set of hards is a good way to go. That makes sense. I will give it a try later to see if it works or not.
I’m still learning and experimenting, but I feel like I’m finally starting to get the hang of this whole setup thing. Now I am able to set a faster lap time of 1:29.816 in the dry, which is amazing! It’s definitely a work in progress, but it’s been a fun challenge so far. If you’re also struggling with the Bahrain track in F1 24, I hope my experience can help you a little bit. Just keep practicing and tweaking, and you’ll find what works best for you.
