Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this game, trying to figure out the best way to beat Persian. It’s been a bit of a headache, honestly. But after a bunch of trial and error, I think I’ve cracked the code, or at least gotten close enough.
First off, I started by looking up some guides online. I mean, who doesn’t, right? There’s a ton of info out there, but it’s kinda scattered. One place mentioned using Mega Blaziken, which sounded cool, but I didn’t have one of those just lying around. Then I stumbled upon this Pokebattler site, which had a whole guide on this. They had some fancy infographic thing that was supposed to show the best counters, but I found the text a bit more helpful. It’s all about finding Pokemon with strong fighting moves.

I dug a bit deeper and found some articles mentioning Persian is a Normal type. So, duh, it’s weak against Fighting types. I guess I kinda knew that, but it’s good to have it confirmed. I went through my collection and picked out some of my strongest fighters. My Machamp with some kick-butt fighting moves seemed like a good starting point. I also grabbed my trusty Lucario. That one has some killer moves too, although I get them mixed up sometimes.
Experimenting with Different Pokemon
So, I started battling. The first few tries were rough. I won’t lie, I got my butt kicked a few times. But each time, I learned something new. I tried switching up my lineup, seeing which Pokemon lasted longer, which ones did the most damage. It was a lot of going back and forth, healing up my Pokemon, and then diving back into the fray.
- Machamp – This guy was a beast. He was definitely doing some serious damage, but sometimes he’d faint before finishing the job.
- Lucario – Also a solid choice, maybe a bit faster than Machamp, but sometimes lacked the raw power.
- Hariyama – Not bad, but I felt like he was just there to take hits, not deal them.
After a bunch of battles, I started to see a pattern. Fighting types were definitely the way to go, but it wasn’t just about having the right type. It was also about having the right moves. I spent some time using TMs to get my best fighters equipped with Focus Blast. That move seemed to do the trick. It packs a punch and really puts a dent in Persian’s health.
I won’t say it was easy. There were times when I thought I had it figured out, only to get creamed in the next battle. But I kept at it, kept tweaking my strategy, and eventually, I started winning more consistently. It felt good, you know? Like I was finally getting the hang of it.
So, yeah, that’s my story of figuring out how to beat Persian. It wasn’t a walk in the park, but it was definitely a fun challenge. And hey, I learned a thing or two along the way. Now I’m off to find my next challenge!
