Okay, so, I’ve been diving into the second split of the League of Legends ranked season, and boy, it’s been a journey. I heard that this is the first year that League has introduced three ranked splits, and this second split kicked off around May 15th with patch 14.10. I was super pumped to get started. First things first, I had to figure out how to claim my rewards from the first split and get ready for the second.
I started playing my placement matches, trying out different champions and roles to see what felt right. It was a bit of a grind, to be honest. Some games, I was on fire, carrying my team to victory. Other games, not so much. It’s all part of the experience, right? I noticed that teamwork is crucial in this split. Coordinating with my teammates, making calls, and playing around objectives made a huge difference.
One thing I really focused on was improving my map awareness. Keeping an eye on the minimap, tracking the enemy jungler, and making sure I was in the right place at the right time helped me win more games. I also made sure to communicate with my team using pings and the chat. I started to do this, I guess I did play better.
I also spent some time watching pro players and streamers to pick up new strategies and tips. It’s amazing how much you can learn just by watching the best of the best play the game. I tried to incorporate some of their tactics into my own gameplay, and it definitely paid off. It’s just like you are watching a master chef on TV. You see their skills and you just want to make what they are making.
As I played more games, I started to climb the ranks. Seeing my rank go up after each win was such a satisfying feeling. Of course, there were setbacks along the way. Some games were just unwinnable, no matter how hard I tried. But I didn’t let those losses get me down. I took each game as a learning opportunity and tried to figure out what I could have done better.
I heard that this split ends on September 24th, so I’m pushing hard to reach my goal rank before then. I really want to get those juicy end-of-season rewards, lol. It’s a marathon, not a sprint, but I’m determined to make it. I know that the apex ranks like Master and above have a slightly earlier deadline, ending 15 minutes before the rest, so I’m keeping that in mind as well.
All in all, it’s been a fun and challenging experience so far. I’ve learned a lot, improved my skills, and made some new friends along the way. That’s what it’s all about, right? Just enjoying the game, striving to get better, and having a good time with your teammates. And also, I don’t really care about whether we win or not. But I do care if my teammates are bad. I hate those noobs man.
