Alright, so I was messing around with Pokémon GO the other day, and I got really into optimizing my Gardevoir. You know, trying to make it the best it can be. Gardevoir’s always been one of my favorites, so I wanted to do it right.
So, first off, I spent some time catching a bunch of Ralts. I needed those candies to evolve it into Gardevoir and then power it up. After a bit of grinding, I finally had enough. I evolved my best Ralts, and boom, there it was, a shiny new Gardevoir.

Now, the real work began. I started looking into what moves were the best for Gardevoir. I did some digging online and found out that Confusion and Psychic are the way to go if you’re using Gardevoir to attack gyms. Apparently, this combo gives you the most damage per second. That sounded pretty good to me, so I went with it.
I used a few TMs to get the right moves. At first, it had some other moves, but I really wanted that Confusion and Psychic combo. It took a couple of tries, but eventually, I got it.
- Caught a bunch of Ralts for candies.
- Evolved the best Ralts into Gardevoir.
- Researched the best moves for attacking.
- Used TMs to get Confusion and Psychic.
Next, I started testing it out. I took my Gardevoir to a few gyms and had it battle. Let me tell you, it was awesome! It was taking down other Pokémon like it was nothing. I could really see the difference with the new moveset. I mean this was way better than before. This Gardevoir was stronger than ever, it could easily beat many other Pokémons!
I also learned that Gardevoir is weak against Ghost, Poison, and Steel-type attacks. That’s a bit of a bummer, but it’s also strong against Dragon and Fighting-type, which is pretty cool. So, I made a mental note to avoid those bad matchups.
Testing and Results
After using it for a while, I can confidently say that Confusion and Psychic are a killer combo for Gardevoir. It’s been way more effective in battles. I’ve been winning more, and it’s just more fun to use. I am so happy that I finally made my Gardevoir this powerful. I think anyone who’s got a Gardevoir should definitely give this moveset a try. You can totally feel it that the damage is huge, and gym battles became a piece of cake. In my experience, I’d say this is the way to go.
So yeah, that’s my Gardevoir story. I’m still playing around with it and trying to get it even stronger. It’s a work in progress, but it’s been a blast so far.
