Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this thing called “Deceive” lately, and it’s pretty neat if you play League of Legends. Basically, it lets you appear offline to your friends in the game.
First off, I downloaded this Deceive app. It was kinda small, nothing too crazy. After I got it installed, I ran it before I even opened up the League of Legends client. That’s the trick, you gotta start Deceive first.

- Download Deceive.
- Install the application.
- Launch Deceive before starting League of Legends.
Once I did that, I just logged into League like I normally do. Boom, to everyone on my friends list, I looked like I was offline. I could still play games and all that, but nobody could see I was on. Pretty sneaky, huh?
I played a few games with it, and it worked like a charm. No more getting spammed with invites when I just wanted to chill and play solo. I was in control of when to be seen or unseen.
Why I Did This
You might be wondering, “Why even bother with all this?” Well, sometimes I just want to grind some games without getting distracted. Or maybe I’m trying out a new champion and don’t want my friends to see me feed, haha. With Deceive, I’m under the radar. It gave me more time to focus on improving my skills or enjoy myself without social pressure.
It’s a simple tool, but it made a difference in how I play. No fuss, no complicated setup, just a little app that gives me some peace and quiet when I need it in League of Legends.
So yeah, that’s my little experiment with Deceive. If you’re a League player and you ever want to just disappear for a bit, you might want to check it out. It’s been a handy little discovery for me. The simplicity really surprised me.
