Okay, so I wanted to get into this game, “Lethal Company,” but I ran into a bit of a snag with my controller.
First, I tried plugging in my old Xbox One controller.

I’ve been using this controller with the Steam app on my Mac for a while now without any problems.
I thought it would be a smooth transition, but boy, was I wrong.
I turned on that pro controller setting in the system settings, and connected the controller, and I had to change the grip order.
The game just wouldn’t recognize it no matter what I did. I tried restarting the game, my computer, and even checked for driver updates, but nothing worked.
So, I started digging around online to see if anyone else had similar issues.
I stumbled upon some forums and Reddit threads where people were talking about different controllers that might work better.
Some folks mentioned the Gamesir G7 SE and the PDP Rematch, saying they had programmable back buttons, which sounded pretty cool.
The thing that interests me the most is the programmable back buttons.
Then I remembered some random stuff I’d read before about binary signals and output terminals.
One post mentioned something about turning off the computer, removing the power source, and disconnecting all input and output devices.

I figured, why not give it a shot? I shut down my computer, unplugged everything, and even installed some anti-virus software just in case.
After turning everything back on, I still had no luck with my old controller.
I felt kinda defeated, but I wasn’t ready to give up yet.
I went on AMZ and found a kit with a controller and stepper motor that looked like it could do the trick, but honestly, it was a bit out of my budget.
Finally, I decided to try a different controller altogether.
I borrowed a friend’s new controller, and guess what? It worked like a charm!
I played “Lethal Company” for hours that day. It was such a relief to finally get it working.
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure with controllers and “Lethal Company.”
It was a bit of a headache, but I learned a lot along the way.
If you’re having similar issues, don’t give up! Sometimes, it’s just a matter of finding the right controller for the job.

You can make it!
