Okay, so today I wanted to share my experience with the latest update for NBA 2K24 on current-gen consoles. I fired up my PS4 and saw that there was a new update available, version 1.09 or something. I thought, “Alright, let’s see what’s new.” I started downloading it right away.
After the download finished, I jumped into the game. The first thing I noticed was that it said Season 6 data was added. “Cool,” I thought, “new season stuff.”

- I checked out the MyCareer mode first.
- I noticed some people online saying something about attribute boosts being increased for Veteran 2.
- I haven’t reached that level yet, so I couldn’t really confirm it.
- I played a few games, and everything felt pretty smooth.
Then I switched over to The City. I didn’t see any major changes there, but maybe I missed something. I cruised around for a bit, but nothing really stood out. I also explored the MyTeam mode.
I heard there were some stability fixes in this update. I guess that’s a good thing, although I haven’t experienced any major issues before. So far, the game has been running fine for me. I tried finding the patch notes or official update info. I didn’t find the official source of this update, but I found some news from third parties.
My Overall Impression
Overall, this update seems pretty decent. Nothing groundbreaking, but it’s always good to see the developers making improvements. I’ll keep playing and see if I notice anything else different. And I heard that the next patch update might be on Oct 20, so I will keep an eye on it. If you guys have spotted anything new or different, feel free to share in the comments!
