Okay, so, I wanted to get into this whole “First Aid” thing in World of Warcraft Classic. I’d heard it’s a pretty useful skill, especially if you’re out there in the wild and taking a beating.
First, I needed to find a trainer. They’re usually in the major cities, so I started in Stormwind. I asked around, and people pointed me to this one medic, Michelle Belle, I believe, near the Cathedral, where I was hanging around. She taught me the basics and got me started as an Apprentice.

Leveling Up
- 1-75: This part was a breeze. I just kept crafting Linen Bandages. I went out, killed some low-level mobs, got some Linen Cloth, and turned them into bandages. It took a bit of time, but it was pretty straightforward.
- 75-150: Once I hit 75, Michelle Belle trained me to become a Journeyman, I learned to make Heavy Linen Bandages, which is the same as before, only using more cloth. I also learned how to make Wool Bandages by then. I needed to get some Wool Cloth this time, which was a bit harder to find, but I managed. Also had to grind a bit, but I got there eventually.
- 150-225: Now, things got a little tricky. I needed to find a specific book called “Expert First Aid – Under Wraps” to go past 150. And to get that book, I needed to go to Stromgarde in Arathi Highlands. I made my way there and had to go around and find this guy, Deneb Walker, who was selling it. I bought the book, used it, and bam, I was an Expert. Time to make those Heavy Wool Bandages! Also learned how to make Silk Bandages.
- 225-300: This is where I’m at now. I have to find this other book called “Manual: Heavy Silk Bandage“. I need to find this book called “Manual: Mageweave Bandage” as well. I’ve heard they’re somewhere in Dustwallow Marsh or Arathi Highlands, sold by these vendors, Balai Lok’Wein and Doctor Gregory Victor. I’m planning to head over there later today and buy them. It’s a bit of a journey, but I’m determined to max out this skill!
I found out that using First Aid doesn’t interrupt your eating or drinking. That’s pretty sweet! You can be munching on some bread and patching yourself up at the same time.
So yeah, that’s my First Aid journey so far. It’s been a bit of a grind, especially finding the materials and the books, but I think it’s worth it. Being able to heal yourself on the go is a lifesaver, literally. I will keep leveling and using it!
