Alright, so I’ve been messing around with this Pokémon called Rhyperior, trying to figure out the best moves for it. It’s been quite a journey, let me tell you.
First off, I started by catching a Rhyhorn. Took me a while to find a decent one with good stats, you know? Then, I trained it up, battled a bunch of wild Pokémon and trainers. It was a grind, but seeing it evolve into Rhydon was pretty satisfying.

But I wasn’t done yet. To get Rhyperior, I needed to trade Rhydon while it was holding a Protector. That was a whole other ordeal. Finding someone to trade with, making sure they wouldn’t just run off with my Rhydon…it was stressful. But, I found a trustworthy person, and we made the trade. Boom, Rhyperior!
Now, for the moves. This is where it got tricky. I spent hours reading guides, watching videos, and experimenting in battles. Rhyperior is a beast physically, so I knew I wanted some strong physical attacks.
- Earthquake: This was a no-brainer. STAB (Same-type attack bonus) and just hits like a truck. I leveled up my Rhyperior until he learned this and, boy, this one was a must.
- Stone Edge: Another STAB move, and it’s super effective against a lot of types. I used a TM to get this one.
- Megahorn: This one was for coverage. It helps deal with those pesky Grass-types that Rhyperior is weak to. Another TM to collect.
- Swords Dance: Okay, this one isn’t an attack, but it’s crucial. It boosts Rhyperior’s attack stat by two stages. I had it learn this through leveling up, too. I use this at the start of a battle, and then Rhyperior just destroys everything.
So, after all that, I finally settled on this moveset. It’s been working great for me. Rhyperior is an absolute powerhouse with these moves, especially after a Swords Dance boost. I was having a hard time in online battles, but this bad boy has turned the tables for me.
It took a lot of time and effort, but it was totally worth it. Figuring out the best moves for Rhyperior has been a rewarding experience. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some more battles to win!
