Alright, so, I was playing Pokemon the other day, and I got into this whole debate with myself: Glalie or Froslass? I’ve got a Snorunt, you see, and I was trying to decide which way to evolve it. Both are Ice types, which is pretty cool, but they’re quite different. I spent hours researching and playing around with both, and here’s what went down.
Getting Started
First, I caught a bunch of Snorunts. I wanted to make sure I had some with decent stats and, ideally, a female one, since only the female Snorunts can evolve into Froslass. I used up so many Ultra Balls, man, you wouldn’t believe it. It’s like, gotta catch ’em all, but also gotta catch the good ones, you know?

Training and Evolving
Once I had my Snorunts, I started training them. I battled a ton of wild Pokemon and used them in a few trainer battles. Leveling them up was a bit of a grind, but it was all part of the process. For Glalie, you just need to level up Snorunt to level 42. Easy peasy. But for Froslass, you need to use a Dawn Stone on a female Snorunt. I had to do a lot of digging around in caves and stuff to find one of those stones, let me tell you.
Testing Them Out
After I finally had both a Glalie and a Froslass, I started putting them to the test. I took them through some tough battles, tried out different movesets, and paid attention to how they performed.
- Glalie – This guy’s pretty straightforward. He’s bulky and can take a few hits. I gave him moves like Ice Beam and Earthquake, and he did okay. Not too shabby, but nothing to write home about, really.
- Froslass – She’s a whole different story. Being an Ice and Ghost type, she’s got some interesting type advantages. She’s also super fast! I kitted her out with moves like Shadow Ball and, of course, some strong Ice moves. She was wiping the floor with some opponents, especially Dragon types. It was pretty sweet to watch.
What I Noticed
Here’s the thing, though. While Glalie was alright, Froslass just seemed way more versatile. She could handle a wider variety of opponents and her speed meant she usually got the first hit in. Plus, being a Ghost type, she was immune to Normal and Fighting attacks, which came in handy more than once. I just kept finding myself using Froslass more and more.
The Verdict
So, after all that, I’ve pretty much decided that Froslass is my go-to. She’s just more fun to use, and she’s been more effective in battles overall. Glalie’s fine and all, but he’s just a bit boring, if I’m being honest. Froslass, on the other hand, feels like she’s got more personality, you know? I mean, both are good in their own way. It really depends on what you’re looking for in an Ice-type Pokemon. But for me, Froslass just takes the cake.
It was a long process, it was a grind, but I learned a lot. And I’m pretty happy with my decision. It was really fun to dive deep into this and figure out what works best for me. Hope you guys enjoyed hearing about my little Pokemon adventure!
