Okay, so, I got this idea the other day to mess around with a fake CS:GO case opening thing. You know, just for fun, not actually gambling or anything.
I started by, like, just browsing around online, reading about how people feel about these case openings. And man, there’s a lot of opinions out there! Some folks are totally convinced that these things are rigged. Like, “These cases are rigged. I opened a knife on my first 5 boxes when csgo came out.. not,” one person wrote. I guess they were being sarcastic, but it shows how skeptical people are.

Then I found this other comment that really got me thinking. “Opened over 3000 cases and got 1 Red and no knives… stay away from Valves moneygrabbing machine and buy skins instead,” they said. 3000 cases! That’s insane! It really makes you realize how unlikely it is to get anything good. I read another comment, it said, “Every time you open a case, a chance of unboxing a knife is 0.26%.” Only 0.26%! How can I get a knife?
So, after getting a sense of the real deal, I started looking into how I could simulate this. I just wanted to see what it would be like to open a bunch of cases without actually spending any money. I found these “fake case opening commands,” but they weren’t exactly what I was looking for. I didn’t want to use commands; I wanted a more realistic experience. I just google “The odds of winning some of the knifes/guns/gloves etc.” It’s crazy, Someone said that he spent 500€ to open cases in one day, I don’t want to try that.
Then I stumbled upon some websites that do fake case openings. I was curious, so I checked them out. The whole idea behind these sites is pretty messed up. I read somewhere that “Case-opening sites deceive their users through biased winrates, fake winners, and heavily-favored sponsors.” Basically, they make it seem like you have a better chance of winning than you actually do. One of them called is the biggest devil of CSGO gambling scene.
But for my little experiment, it was perfect. I clicked around, “opened” some cases, and of course, didn’t get anything amazing. It was just like everyone said – mostly low-value items. It was kind of a letdown, but also, it felt kind of realistic, in a weird way.
Anyway, the whole thing was just a fun little project. It definitely confirmed my suspicions about how these case openings work. They’re designed to make money, not to make you happy. I’m glad I didn’t waste any real money on it. It’s just not worth it. I’d rather just buy the skins I want directly.
Here is what I “won” today:
- Five-SeveN Hyper Beast
- M4A4 龍王
- AK-47 Aquamarine Revenge
- XM1014 Seasons
- Glock-18 Moonrise
All in all, it was an interesting experience. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to gamble, but faking it made me learn a lot about how these things work!
