So, I’ve been digging into Pokemon Go again lately, and I’ve really been trying to beef up my Rhyperior. This thing is a beast, right? But I wanted to make sure I was using the absolute best moves for it. So I started doing some digging.
First, I checked out what moves Rhyperior can even learn. Turns out it has two choices for Fast Attacks: Mud-Slap and Smack Down. Now, I wasn’t sure which one was better, so I had to do a bit more research. I found out that the best way to find a Rhyperior is to look around in the wild, especially during specific events.

Finding the Right Moves
Next, I started looking at what people were saying about Rhyperior’s best movesets. What I found was pretty clear: the best combo is Mud-Slap for the Fast Attack and Rock Wrecker for the Charged Attack. The DPS on this combo is crazy, I saw someone mention it’s around 16.82.
I also learned that Rock Wrecker is a really good move. Some people were even talking about using an Elite TM to get it, though others said it might not be worth it unless you have a perfect Rhyperior.
Putting it to the Test
So, armed with this knowledge, I went out and started playing. I caught a Rhyperior, and used some TMs to make sure it had both Mud-Slap and Rock Wrecker. Then, I took it into some raids and, let me tell you, this thing is a monster!
I even tried it out in the Master League, and it held its own pretty well. It feels like it can go toe-to-toe with almost anything, especially with that Rock Wrecker move.
- Used TMs to teach Mud-Slap and Rock Wrecker.
- Tested Rhyperior in raids – it crushed it!
- Tried it in Master League – performed well.
- Confirmed Mud-Slap and Rock Wrecker is the best combo.
So yeah, if you’re looking to use Rhyperior in Pokemon Go, definitely go for Mud-Slap and Rock Wrecker. Trust me, you won’t regret it. It is just so much fun to see this beast in action. I’m not going to use any other moves. I have to use the best moves, because that’s what we do. I’m going to try to get a perfect Rhyperior one day, and then I’ll be unstoppable!
