So, I’ve been digging into this whole Lugia best nature thing lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey! At first, I was like, “Nature? What’s that got to do with anything?” I just wanted a strong Lugia, you know?
I started by just catching one, not really paying attention to its nature. I figured, hey, it’s a legendary, it’s gotta be good, right? I started leveling it up, throwing it into battles, and it was doing alright, but I felt like something was missing. That’s when I started to look into the strategy stuff. You know, I went and read those guides online, and there were so many complicated words. Then I found a video about what nature is suitable, but the video is just too boring to watch.

I started experimenting. I caught a bunch of Lugias, each with different natures. I didn’t really understand what things like “Quiet” or “Modest” meant, so I just went with my gut. I’d battle with one, see how it felt, then try another. It was a lot of trial and error, that’s for sure.
- Bold Lugia: This one was tough, taking hits like a champ but not dishing out much in return.
- Modest Lugia: More power on the special attacks, which was cool, but it felt a bit fragile.
- Calm Lugia: It was okay, sort of a middle ground, but nothing special.
- Quiet Lugia: This one was interesting. It was slow, but man, when it hit, it HIT.
After a lot of battles, I realized that the Quiet nature seemed to work best for me. I like a Lugia that can take a hit, and then, when it gets a chance, deliver a devastating blow. That’s where the Multiscale ability comes in, right? It helps Lugia survive those big hits. With the Quiet nature, after that big hit, my Lugia was doing some serious damage. I even tried boosting its Special Attack with some EVs, 252, to be exact, and put the rest into HP. It felt like a good balance.
I’m not saying I’m some expert now, but I definitely learned a lot. Choosing the right nature can make a big difference. It’s not just about having a strong Pokemon, it’s about finding one that fits your style. For me, that’s a Quiet Lugia with Multiscale. It’s been a fun experiment, and I’m still tweaking things here and there. But hey, that’s part of the fun, right?
Anyway, that’s my story. I hope it’s helpful to someone out there. Just remember, it’s all about finding what works for you. Don’t be afraid to experiment and see what you like! Go out there and try some different stuff, see what nature fits your style of battling. You might be surprised what you discover!
