Okay, so I wanted to put together a tier list for mid laners in League of Legends. I’ve been playing this game for a while now, and I always like to keep track of which champions are doing well.
First, I started by playing a bunch of games. I mean, a lot. I played different mid laners, some I was good at, some I was, well, not so good at. It was a bit of a grind, but hey, someone’s gotta do it, right? I started to get a feel for who was strong and who was kind of, you know, meh.

Then, I started looking at the stats. Win rates, pick rates, ban rates – you name it. There are some websites out there that track all this stuff, and it’s pretty useful. I spent hours just poring over numbers, trying to figure out what they all meant. Numbers are important but I still need my own experience to confirm them.
After that, I started asking around. I talked to other players, looked at what the pros were playing, and watched a bunch of high-elo games. It’s always good to get different perspectives, you know? I even checked out what some experts said about the current patch. They mentioned champions like Darius, Bel’Veth, Cassiopeia, Miss Fortune, and Sona being good for climbing below low Diamond. I always try to confirm what I get from other players with my own real experience.
Based on all of that, I started putting together my tier list. It was a lot of trial and error. I moved champions up and down, argued with myself about where they should go, and generally just spent way too much time thinking about it. Finally, I had something I was happy with. S-tier champions, A-tier, B-tier, all the way down. But tier lists are not fixed. They will change when the patches change.
Here’s how I see it:
- S-Tier: These are the champions that are just crushing it right now. If you want to win, these are your best bets.
- A-Tier: Still really good, just not quite as dominant as the S-tier picks.
- B-Tier: These champions are okay. You can win with them, but it might be a bit harder.
- C-Tier and below: Honestly, I’d probably avoid these champions if you’re trying to climb.
So yeah, that’s how I made my mid laner tier list. It was a process, let me tell you. But hopefully, it’s helpful for someone out there. Just remember, this is just my opinion, and things can change quickly in this game. Keep practicing, keep learning, and maybe I’ll see you on the Rift!
