Okay, so, I saw this thing online about making money playing Fortnite and I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” I mean, who wouldn’t want to get paid for playing video games, right? So, I started looking into it. Turns out, there are a few different ways to do it.
First, I tried joining some online tournaments. I found some websites that host them. I signed up for a few, thinking it would be easy money. Man, was I wrong! The competition was way tougher than I expected. These guys were seriously good. I got my butt kicked in almost every match. I practiced a lot, watched some pro players, and tried to learn their tricks. Slowly, I started getting better. I even won a couple of small tournaments! It wasn’t a lot of money, but hey, it was something. I kept at it, entering more tournaments, trying to improve my game.

Then, I learned about this thing called the Creator Economy 2.0 program from Epic Games. Apparently, you can make money by creating your own maps and stuff in the game. I’m not really a creative type, but I gave it a shot anyway. I started messing around with the tools, trying to build some cool levels. It was actually kind of fun, once I got the hang of it.
I spent hours building and testing my maps. I watched tutorials online, learned some tips and tricks, and tried to make my maps as fun and engaging as possible. It was a lot of trial and error, I will say that. Finally, after a lot of work, I finished my first map and published it.
I also gave streaming a try. I set up an account and started streaming my gameplay. Let me tell you, it’s not as easy as it looks. Talking to an audience while trying to focus on the game is pretty tough, especially when you’re not used to it. It took some time to find my groove, but after a while I started getting more viewers and made a little money from it.
Here’s a breakdown of what I did:
- Joined Online Tournaments: Signed up and competed in online Fortnite tournaments.
- Practiced and Improved: Watched pro players, learned strategies, and practiced a lot to get better.
- Created Fortnite Maps: Learned about the Creator Economy 2.0 program and started building my own maps.
- Streamed My Gameplay: Started streaming my Fortnite sessions online.
In the end, I did manage to make some money playing Fortnite. It wasn’t enough to quit my day job, but it was a nice little side hustle. I learned a lot, had some fun, and got a little extra cash in my pocket. Not a bad deal, if you ask me. Most importantly, I learned that you really need to practice hard and put in a lot of effort to make money playing Fortnite. But hey, if you love the game and you’re willing to put in the work, it’s definitely possible to make some money.
