Well, lemme tell ya somethin’ ‘bout this ADR thing in CS. Folks been talkin’ a lot about it lately. So, what does ADR even mean? ADR stands for Average Damage per Round. It’s kinda like figurin’ out how much hurt ya put on the other players each time y’all go round for round in the game.
Now, I ain’t no fancy gamer, but I reckon it’s important to know this stuff if ya wanna do better in the game. Ya see, the more damage ya do, the better you’ll look in the game. Some folks say it helps ya see how much of an impact ya makin’. Higher ADR means ya hittin’ more enemies, which means ya probably winnin’ more, too.

They say them top players, ya know the real pros, they got ADR sittin’ somewhere ‘round 80 to 86 on average. That’s a lotta damage if ya ask me. I heard someone mention that one fella had a million ADR on his stats or somethin’, but I don’t know ‘bout all that. Seems a bit high, don’t it?
Anyways, this ADR is somethin’ the game calculates. What it does is, it takes all the damage ya done in a match and divides it by how many rounds ya played. Real simple math if ya think ‘bout it. Let’s say ya done 2000 damage in a match, and there was 20 rounds. Ya take that 2000 and divide it by 20, and boom, ya got 100 ADR. Easy as pie.
Now, why’s it important? Well, if yer ADR is high, it means ya doin’ somethin’ right. Ya out there takin’ down enemies, hurtin’ ‘em bad, and helpin’ your team win. If yer ADR’s low, well, maybe ya need to practice a bit more, ‘cause ya ain’t doin’ much to help out the team. Just like in the real world, the more work ya put in, the better yer results, ya know?
It’s also good to know that ADR ain’t the only thing that matters in the game. Some folks like to look at their K/D ratio, which is how many kills they got compared to how many times they died. But ADR, well, it shows ya more ‘bout how consistent ya are. Even if ya ain’t gettin’ a ton of kills, but ya doin’ damage, ya still helpin’ yer team. So don’t go worryin’ too much if ya ain’t always gettin’ them high kill numbers, just focus on dealin’ some damage.
From what I hear, some of them big-shot players use ADR to keep track of how well they’re doin’ over time. They look at their average ADR across matches to see if they’re improvin’ or need to step it up. I suppose it’s like lookin’ at yer crops every season and seein’ if they growin’ better or worse than last year. It’s a good way to check in on yerself, see where ya stand.
So, if ya wanna get better at this CS game, keep an eye on that ADR. It’ll show ya just how much ya bringin’ to the table each round. The higher it is, the more enemies yer takin’ down, and the closer yer team is to winnin’. Simple as that.
Now, go on, get back to playin’ and try to get that ADR up, ya hear?
