Hey everyone, today I wanna talk about my recent games in Marvel Snap, specifically with Daken and some of the decks I’ve been messing around with. This new card, Daken, seems pretty cool, huh? He’s Wolverine’s son, all angsty and powerful.
So, I got this idea to try and make a deck where I could keep pumping up Daken’s power. I tried using Magik, figuring I could get an extra turn to boost him. First few games, I played Daken in an empty lane. Then, I dropped Nova and Magik right after. I was planning to use something strong on turn 5, and then, bam, Arnim Zola on Daken on turn 6 to spread that power across the board.

- Game 1: It kinda worked! I got a decent Daken, but my opponent had a counter. Still, it showed me the potential.
- Game 2: This one was a mess. I couldn’t draw Magik in time, and my whole plan fell apart. Daken was all alone and not very strong.
- Game 3: Okay, this one was better. I got the combo off, and Arnim Zola really did his thing. My Dakens were huge, and I managed to snag the win.
I played a few more games, trying different cards, seeing what worked and what didn’t. It’s tough, man, this game can be so random! Sometimes you get the perfect cards, and sometimes you’re just stuck with nothing useful.
My thoughts so far
Daken’s got potential, that’s for sure. But he needs the right setup, you know? He’s not a card you can just throw down and expect to win. You gotta build around him. I’m thinking maybe a deck focused on destroying cards could be good. Or maybe something with a lot of movement, so I can get him in the right spot for Arnim Zola.
I’m gonna keep playing around with different deck ideas. I read some other player’s comments on the Marvel Snap subreddit today, there was some buzz around Daken. Some people have some interesting strategies, and I want to give those a shot too. It’s all about experimenting, right? I’ll keep y’all updated on how it goes. Let me know if you’ve had any luck with Daken!
