Okay, so, I’ve been trying to get this Blanche Rainbow Rare card from the Pokemon Go set for a while now. It’s a real pain in the ass to pull, you know? I’ve opened, like, a ton of packs, but no luck. It’s one of those full art rainbow secret rare things, and they’re always a pain to get.
So, I started looking online. I went on many platform, you know, that one with all the auctions and stuff. And let me tell you, the prices for this card are all over the place. Some people are selling it for, like, twenty bucks, which is not too bad. But then others are trying to get, like, way more than that, especially if it’s graded. It’s crazy.
- Started by trying to pull the card from packs.
- No luck, so I went online to check prices.
- Prices were wild, man. Some were okay, others were insane.
I saw one that was graded by PSA, I guess they’re one of those grading companies, and it was a PSA 8. I mean, it’s good, but not perfect, you know? They were asking for a bit more, but honestly, it wasn’t too crazy. I’ve seen worse.
Then, there was this other one. It was graded by BGS, and it was a 9.5. That’s pretty much perfect, right? The price for that one was higher. But still, I was thinking, maybe I should just buy it already. I mean, I’ve spent so much on packs already, maybe it’s just smarter to get the card I want, you know?
I also saw some listings for the Japanese version of the card. It’s from the same Pokemon Go set, but the Japanese one. They had a number on it, 090/071, I think. Those were a bit cheaper, but I really wanted the English one. Something about having the card in a language I understand, you know?
Decision Time
So, I kept looking and looking. I found one that was ungraded but looked pretty good in the pictures. The seller said it was in “Near Mint” condition, which is supposed to be good. The price was in the middle, not too cheap, not too expensive. I thought about it for a while, comparing it to the graded ones. It’s always a gamble with ungraded cards, you never really know what you’re gonna get. But I decided to take the risk. I messaged the seller, asked a few questions, and finally, I just went for it. I bought the dang card.
Now I’m just waiting for it to arrive. Fingers crossed it’s in good condition. I’ll let you guys know how it goes. Wish me luck!
