Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to get that classic Polo Grounds stadium in MLB The Show 23 for a while now. I finally figured it out, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a grind, but totally worth it. Here’s how I did it.
First off, I started digging around in the game menus, trying to find where this stadium was hiding. I checked the usual spots, you know, where you’d expect to unlock classic stadiums, but no dice. Then, someone in a forum mentioned something about collecting all the other classic stadiums. That was my first “aha!” moment.

So, I jumped into Diamond Dynasty mode, because that’s where all the collectible stuff is, right? I started looking at the prices for these classic stadiums in the auction house. Most of them were going for around 1,200 to 1,500 stubs each. Not too bad, but I still had to collect a bunch of them, which meant I needed a good amount of stubs.
I started playing a ton of games in Diamond Dynasty, grinding out those stubs. I played a lot of Conquest, Ranked Seasons, and even some of the single player events. It was a slow process, but slowly but surely, I started to gather enough stubs to buy those classic stadiums one by one.
I bought the stadiums and put them into my collection. Each time I got a new one, I was hoping to see Polo Grounds, but it still wasn’t showing up. After a lot of time and effort, I finally had them all.
It’s Done!
And then, bam! There it was. Polo Grounds finally popped up as a reward for completing the classic stadiums collection. It was a pretty sweet feeling to finally unlock it. I quickly equipped it as my home stadium. The high walls and seating make it a unique place to play. Some even say that in history, no one ever hit a homer over the dead center wall!
Honestly, it was a bit of a hassle to collect all those stadiums, but playing in Polo Grounds, with its crazy outfield dimensions, is so much fun. It definitely adds a unique flavor to the game. If you’re a fan of baseball history or just want a different kind of challenge, it’s worth going for. The stadium was demolished in 1964, what a pity!
So yeah, that’s my story of how I got Polo Grounds in MLB The Show 23. Hope this helps anyone else who’s been trying to get it!
