Alright, so I spent the whole day yesterday trying to figure out the best team composition for Breeze. Let me tell you, it was a bit of a headache, but also pretty fun.
I started by playing a few games solo, just to get a feel for the map again. Breeze, if you haven’t played it, is huge and has these wide-open spaces. You really need to think about your agent choices because of that. I tried a few different characters at first, kind of messing around. I played some Raze, but man, it felt like I was just throwing abilities into the void. Not great. Raze is really not a good pick for this map.

Then I started thinking, who’s good on big maps? Snipers, right? So, naturally, I tried Chamber. And, oh boy, it was like night and day! He feels great on Breeze. His sniping is amazing, of course, but even his economy game is strong here, which makes a big difference. He’s a pretty solid choice, definitely. In some games, I can even carry the game.
After that, I wanted to try some of the other agents to see how they would do. For example, I picked Yoru. I’ve got to say, it wasn’t a great match. I think Yoru is good and has some cool abilities, but he’s just not a good pick for Breeze. I couldn’t do much in many of the games, and it was hard to make a big impact.
After a bunch of solo games, I hit up my usual squad. We’re not pros or anything, just a group of five friends who like to play together. We usually roll with Viper because one of us is like, really good with her lineups. Then we have a Reyna main and a Jett main. These two are a must in any map.
So we thought, what works well with those three? We needed someone who could lock down areas and someone who could gather info. For area control, we already had Viper, and I also like to play Viper. Her Toxic Screen is just bonkers on Breeze. You can totally cut off huge chunks of the map with it. It made me feel like a game changer. So Viper is a must pick too.
For recon, we decided to go with Skye. Her ability to scout ahead and heal up teammates seemed super valuable on such a big map. And it worked out pretty well! We played a bunch of games, trying different setups. We even tried a double duelist comp with Jett and Reyna/Yoru, plus Skye, Sage, and Viper. It was okay, but honestly, I still think Chamber is a better pick than Reyna or Yoru on Breeze. At least for us.
Here’s my final take on the Breeze team comp:
- Jett: She’s just too good to pass up, especially with her mobility on such a big map.
- Viper: Her wall is insane on Breeze. You can block off whole lanes and make it super hard for the other team.
- Chamber: He can lock down areas with his sniping, and his economy game is strong, which is a big deal.
- Skye: Recon is key, and she can heal, which is always nice.
- Sova: The Initiator is very useful on Breeze as there are many open spaces.
That’s what we’re rolling with for now. We’re winning more than we’re losing, so that’s a good sign. But hey, the meta is always changing, so who knows what we’ll be playing next week!
Anyways, that was my deep dive into Breeze team comps. Hope you found it helpful, or at least entertaining! Let me know what you guys think and what comps you’re running on Breeze.
