First off, I started playing with Haddie ’cause I liked her backstory and her whole vibe. It felt cool playing a character with a unique background. That’s when things got interesting.
The Perks Breakdown
Once I hit prestige 1, Haddie’s teachable perks became available for my other survivors. I was pumped! Her perks are Inner Focus, Residual Manifest, and Overzealous. Let me tell you, these perks are a game-changer.
- Inner Focus: This one’s my favorite. I started using it to see the scratch marks of other survivors within 32 meters. Man, it helps so much with tracking. And the best part? When a teammate gets hurt, the Killer’s aura is revealed. It’s like having a sixth sense. I found myself anticipating the Killer’s moves a lot better.
- Residual Manifest: Okay, this one’s about flashlights. I used to suck at using flashlights, but this perk made me a pro. It lets you rummage through chests for a guaranteed flashlight. Plus, it blinds the Killer for longer. I started using flashlights more effectively, and it’s been a blast.
- Overzealous: This perk is all about those generators. After I cleansed a totem, I noticed my repair speed got a nice boost. It’s not huge, but it definitely helps, especially when you’re in a hurry to get those gens done. I felt like I was contributing more to the team’s progress.
Putting It All Together
So, after unlocking these perks, I started experimenting with different builds. I tried mixing and matching them with other perks I had. Some combos worked great, others, not so much. It was all about trial and error. I spent hours testing different setups, seeing what felt right and what didn’t.
One build I really liked was pairing Inner Focus with Spine Chill and Resilience. This combo made me super aware of the Killer’s location and gave me a speed boost when injured. I felt like I could juke the Killer more easily and stay one step ahead. I managed to escape more often with this setup.
Another fun combo was using Residual Manifest with Built to Last. This let me use my flashlight multiple times, which was super handy. I could blind the Killer, run away, and still have my flashlight ready for the next encounter. It felt like I had an endless supply of flashlights.
The Grind and The Payoff
Honestly, it took a lot of grinding to get to this point. I spent countless hours playing matches, earning bloodpoints, and leveling up Haddie. There were times when I felt frustrated, especially when I had a bad game. But I kept at it, and it paid off.
Now, I feel way more confident when playing as a survivor. Haddie’s perks have given me an edge, and I feel like I can handle almost any situation. I’m still learning and experimenting, but that’s part of the fun. I’m always looking for new ways to improve my gameplay.
