Alright, so I’ve been diving into Fortnite lately, and I gotta say, the character skins are pretty cool. The one that really caught my eye was Leon Kennedy. I mean, who doesn’t love a good Resident Evil throwback? So, I decided to snag him from the Item Shop. Here’s how it went down.
First off, I logged into the game, you know, the usual routine. Then I headed straight to the Item Shop. It is easy to find it. I just clicked several buttons. This shop is updating all the time. I scrolled through all the stuff and then I found him. Leon S. Kennedy, in all his glory, I guess it is my lucky day!
Now, I knew he wouldn’t be cheap. These Gaming Legends skins usually cost a bit. Turns out, he was going for 1,500 V-Bucks. I already had some V-Bucks saved up, and I bought 500 V-Bucks. Then I had enough to cover it.
- Logged in to Fortnite.
- Navigated to the Item Shop.
- Scrolled until I found Leon Kennedy.
- Checked the price, 1,500 V-Bucks.
- Bought 500 V-Bucks.
- Purchased Leon Kennedy.
The purchase was smooth. Just a couple of clicks, and bam, he was mine. I immediately equipped him and jumped into a match. It felt awesome running around as Leon. The details on the skin are pretty sick. And I really dig his Attach Case Back Bling.

I think I played like, 10 matches in a row with him. It’s just super cool to play as a character I’ve known from another game. Makes the whole Fortnite experience even better.
I also saw that he’s part of this Raccoon City Survivors Bundle. I didn’t get the bundle this time. That’s 2,100 V-Bucks, so maybe I grab it later.
From what I gathered, this Leon skin is kind of rare. He’s not always in the shop. Like, the last time he was in there was April 24, 2024. So, I guess I got lucky. And I checked the record, he has been listed 22 times on 21 different occasions. I mean, they really captured his look from Resident Evil. They even got his birth year right, 1977.
Anyway, if you’re a Resident Evil fan and you play Fortnite, I highly recommend picking up Leon if you see him in the shop. It’s totally worth it. You will not regret it.
