Okay, here’s my sharing about how to unlock agents in Valorant, based on my experience:
So I started playing Valorant a while back, and like everyone else, I wanted to unlock all those cool agents. At first, I was a bit lost, not gonna lie. But I figured it out, and let me tell you, it’s not that complicated once you get the hang of it.

When I first launched the game, I started playing through the initial tutorial and matches. That gave me a basic feel for the game and I even unlocked a few agents right off the bat by completing the beginner missions. That was pretty neat, I must say. It gave me a taste of the different agent types.
Then I noticed this thing called “Kingdom Credits”. Sounds fancy, right? It’s basically in-game currency. I found out that you earn these credits just by playing matches. Any mode works, but I personally enjoyed Spike Rush because the games are quicker. Plus, you get extra credits for completing daily and weekly missions. So, naturally, I started grinding those out.
- Play the Game: No rocket science here. The more you play, the more credits you earn.
- Do Your Dailies: These are like little bonus tasks that refresh every day. Easy credits if you complete them.
- Knock Out the Weeklies: These take a bit longer, but they give you a bigger chunk of credits.
I also learned that you can only hold up to 10,000 Kingdom Credits at a time. So, I made sure to spend them as soon as I hit 8,000, which is how much you need to unlock a single agent. No point in hoarding them, you know? By playing Spike Rush mode every day and completing all the daily tasks I managed to get 8,000 KC in just 11 days.
Honestly, the fastest way I found to rack up those credits was to focus on the daily missions. They give you a good boost. I also started playing competitive matches whenever I could. It’s a bit more intense, but you get a good amount of credits, especially if you perform well. To be honest I didn’t play many games and I noticed it still took me 11 days just to unlock 1 agent.
My Strategy
I basically just made it a habit to log in every day, even if it was just for a few quick games to complete the dailies. Consistency is key, my friends. I also tried to focus on one agent at a time. It felt more rewarding to unlock an agent and then get to know their abilities, rather than spreading myself thin trying to get them all at once. Eventually I unlocked one of the agents I wanted and it was so worth it.
So yeah, that’s my story of how I tackled unlocking agents in Valorant. It’s not a race, but it’s definitely satisfying to expand your roster. Just play the game, do your missions, and spend those credits wisely. You’ll have all the agents in no time!
