Okay, so today I want to talk about my little journey figuring out the best moveset for Perrserker. This Pokemon is a hoot in battles, and I’ve spent quite some time experimenting with different moves to see what works best. Let me tell you, it’s been quite the ride!
First off, I started by looking at what Perrserker can actually learn. Turns out, this guy has a pretty decent range of Charge Attacks. We’re talking Iron Head, Play Rough, Close Combat, Foul Play, and Trailblaze. That’s a good mix of Steel, Fairy, Fighting, Dark, and even Grass! Each type offers its own perks, so it’s all about finding the right combo.

Now, I’m no expert, but from what I’ve gathered, Metal Claw and Iron Head seem to be a killer combo. I slapped these moves on my Perrserker and headed into some battles. The damage output was pretty sweet, especially in Gym battles. I was seeing some serious numbers, and honestly, it felt awesome to watch Perrserker just demolish those opponents.
- Metal Claw – This is the go-to Fast Attack. It’s quick, it’s reliable, and it sets up nicely for the big hits.
- Iron Head – This is where the magic happens. With the Same-Type-Attack-Bonus (STAB), this move hits like a truck. I mean, we’re talking a 1.2x damage boost, which is nothing to sneeze at.
I also played around with Tough Claws as the ability. This thing boosts the power of most of Perrserker’s moves. I noticed a significant difference in damage output, especially with moves like Metal Claw and Iron Head. There’s also Steely Spirit, which is cool if you’re looking to really beef up Iron Head’s damage. I did use it against some Sandaconda and Palossand, and man, it was a clean two-hit KO. Pretty satisfying, I must say.
In the Ultra League, Perrserker really shines. Its typing and moveset make it a real threat. I’ve used it to sweep through entire teams, which is always a blast. The coverage against the Ultra League meta is just amazing. You can really catch opponents off guard with the variety of attacks Perrserker has at its disposal.
My Go-To Moveset
After all my experimenting, here’s what I found works best for me:
- Fast Attack: Metal Claw
- Charge Attacks: Iron Head (definitely), and then I usually switch between Play Rough and Close Combat depending on what I’m up against.
- Ability: Tough Claws
This setup has been super effective for me. It’s got a good balance of power and versatility. Of course, your mileage may vary, and it all depends on your play style, but I highly recommend giving this moveset a shot.
So, that’s my Perrserker story. I had a lot of fun trying out different strategies and seeing what this Pokemon can do. It’s definitely a strong contender, and I’m excited to keep using it in battles. If you’ve got any tips or tricks of your own, I’d love to hear them! Let’s keep the Pokemon battles going and see what other awesome combos we can discover.
