Okay, so, I’ve been digging into Chapter 14 of the FFVII Remake, right? And let me tell you, it’s been a journey. This chapter, it’s basically a big collection of side quests, 9 of them to be exact. I was thinking, “Do I really wanna do these?” But then, I started playing, and, man, I got hooked.
It all kicked off with me, as Cloud, along with Barret and Tifa, chilling back at Aerith’s place. Pretty chill, you know? But things got interesting when I stepped out into Aerith’s garden. There was this character waiting, and that’s where the adventure really started. I thought, “Here we go!”

I decided to dive into these side quests. I mean, why not? And honestly, they’re some of the best in the whole game. They had me getting to know these side characters, and it was pretty cool how they tied in with the quests from Chapters 3 and 8. It wasn’t just busywork; it felt like everything was connected. Made the world feel more, I dunno, alive?
- Started exploring Sector 5 and 6. First, I went around, exploring. Checked out the Sector 5 and 6 slums, met some interesting folks.
- Talked to Wymer. Then I bumped into this guy, Wymer. We chatted, and that wrapped up this one quest, “Subterranean Menace.” Got a cool Wrecking Ball for Barret out of it. Sweet!
- Headed to S7-6 Road. After that, I moved on to the S7-6 Road, just outside the Sector 6 gate. More exploring, you know, seeing what’s up.
- Fought some tough bosses. And the fights! There were some awesome boss battles in these quests. Really had to think about my strategy and use all my gear and skills.
Doing these quests, it felt like I was really making a difference in the game world. And yeah, there were some tough fights, but that’s what made it exciting. Plus, it was cool seeing how all these different parts of the game fit together.
So, yeah, that’s my experience with Chapter 14. I went in not sure what to expect, and I came out really enjoying it. It’s not just about the main story, you know? These side quests add so much more. If you’re playing FFVII Remake, I definitely recommend giving them a shot. You might be surprised at how much you like them!
