Okay, so, I’ve been on this Galarian Ponyta hunt in Pokémon GO for a while now, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I started out like everyone else, just catching whatever popped up on my screen. But then I heard about this special, pastel-colored Ponyta, and I was like, “I gotta have it!”
First thing I did was to check out online about this pony, so I googled it and did some research. Turns out, this Galarian Ponyta is a bit different from the regular one. And you know, to catch this unique pony, you gotta know its weaknesses. So, I found out it’s weak against Bug, Dark, and Ghost-types. That was my starting point.
Next, I started preparing my team. I already had a pretty strong Gengar, so I powered that one up even more. I also spent some time catching and evolving some good Dark-type Pokémon, like a Tyranitar I was lucky enough to snag in a raid once. I also kept an eye out for a Giratina in its Origin Forme, since I heard it’s a good counter, but that one’s been a bit more elusive.
With my team somewhat ready, I started hitting up every raid I could find that featured Galarian Ponyta. I used Remote Raid Passes, I asked my friends to invite me to raids, I was on it. The first few raids, I didn’t have much luck. Either I couldn’t beat the Ponyta, or it would run away after I did. It was a bit frustrating, to be honest.
But, I didn’t give up! I kept raiding, and I also started focusing on catching more Bug, Dark, and Ghost-type Pokémon to get candies and improve my team. I even started trading with friends to get better versions of these Pokémon. There were also some events that boosted the appearance of certain types. That’s when I really went all out, catching everything in sight and participating in every raid I could.
Finally, after weeks of trying, it happened! I was in a raid with some friends, and we took down the Galarian Ponyta. My heart was racing as I threw those Premier Balls. And then, boom! I caught it! It wasn’t the strongest one, but it was mine. I was so stoked!
