Alright, so I wanted to share my little adventure with you guys about collecting these “Rainbow Rare” cards. I gotta say, it started as a simple hobby, but man, did it turn into a whole thing!
First off, I went and signed up on the official “Refer a Friend” website. You know, the one for Epic accounts? Yeah, that one. It’s pretty straightforward. You just use your Epic account to sign in. Easy peasy.

Then, I started inviting friends.
The site lets you invite up to five buddies. So, I picked some of my friends who I thought would get into the game. We’re all about those brilliant stars and cosmic eclipse vibes, you know? I sent out the invites right there on the site. I mean, who doesn’t want to team up for some celestial storm action, right?
Next up, we jumped into the game to complete some tasks together.
This part was actually a lot of fun. We were grinding through these in-game tasks, aiming for those sweet rewards. Let me tell you, there’s nothing like bonding over a game. We tried all kinds of sets. For example, vivid voltage, unbroken bonds. Oh, man. Also, we tried unified minds and lost thunder. A lot of fun, man!
- Signed up on the “Refer a Friend” website.
- Invited five friends to join me.
- Completed in-game tasks together.
Finally, the rewards started rolling in.
And let me tell you, getting that Rainbow Racer Outfit was totally worth it. It looks awesome! But it wasn’t just about the outfit. It was about the whole experience, the thrill of the chase, and doing it all with friends. We felt like we were part of a real celestial storm, making those vivid voltage moments together.
Finding these cards.
It is also a whole another story. I did some digging and found that there are a few places where you can buy single cards. If you’re in the US, TCGplayer is a good one. For those in Europe, there is Cardmarket. Of course, there is always ebay, that’s where I look first. You can find some pretty good deals there if you are patient. However, it’s a hit or miss sometimes, so keep your eyes open.
My advice?
Start small. Maybe grab a few booster packs first. That’s what I did. They have a good mix of common and uncommon cards. This is a good way to build a base collection. And you’ll learn to start feeling the difference when holding cards. It becomes natural at some point.
Then, think about what you want to collect. Are you trying to complete specific sets, or are you just hunting for rare cards? For me, it was a bit of both. I really wanted to complete the unbroken bonds and unified minds sets. But I also couldn’t resist chasing those rare rainbow cards. And I do not regret anything!

So yeah, that’s my story about getting into Rainbow Rare cards. It’s been a blast, and I’m not stopping anytime soon. If you’re thinking about starting, just go for it. It’s a lot of fun, especially when you get your friends involved. Happy collecting!
