Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this whole red lily thing in Animal Crossing, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. At first, I thought, “How hard could it be to get a simple red lily?” Turns out, it’s not just about planting a seed and hoping for the best. I started by planting some lily stems on the ground, just like I would with any other flower.
I watered them every day, you know, the usual stuff. After a few days, boom, they bloomed! And guess what? They were red lilies, just like the ones I plucked from the original stems. I felt so good! It was such a relief to finally see them pop up.

- Get those lily seeds or stems, whatever you can find.
- Plant them in a good spot, preferably on a clifftop if you’re aiming for that fancy Lily of the Valley later on, I guess there is no limit to planting them.
- Water them every day. Don’t skip this part!
- Wait a few days, and keep your fingers crossed.
Here’s the trick
Now, I did hear something about getting a special flower called the “Lily of the Valley” if your island has a five-star rating. And it seems like you get one of these special lilies for every week you keep that five-star rating. I am not there yet. I only got three-star now. But for my red lily, I am so happy that I got them. For the five-star rating, I am on the way to it. I can’t pick them like other flowers, so they’re kind of a big deal. I haven’t gotten there yet, but I’m working on it. My island’s not quite a five-star paradise, but hey, at least I’ve got my red lilies!
So yeah, that’s my story about getting red lilies in Animal Crossing. It’s not rocket science, but it does take a little bit of patience and effort. It was a good try!
