Oh my, let me tell ya somethin’ ’bout this Operation Nightmare. It’s this thing they got in that Call of Duty game, ya know? Ya see, it all happens in the nighttime, where folks are runnin’ ’round dealin’ with all sorts of strange things, somethin’ like you ain’t never seen before. It’s like the world done gone upside down! This event, they call it The Haunting, and it’s all kinds of spooky, lemme tell ya.
Now, if ya click on the event tab — that’s what they call it — inside that game launcher thing, you’ll see all your targets, big scary bosses they got lined up for ya to fight. These ain’t just any ol’ fellas; these here are the kinda monsters that come crawlin’ out from under your bed at night, the type that makes your skin crawl. You gotta go out there, takin’ ’em down one by one, like yer swattin’ flies, ‘cept these flies is somethin’ outta a nightmare!
Nightmare Targets
- The first one’s a real nasty piece of work, stompin’ ’round like it owns the place. Gotta be real careful with this one.
- The second one? Oh boy, it moves so fast, you’ll barely see it comin’. But ya gotta keep yer eyes peeled, or it’ll getcha.
- Then there’s one with strange powers, I tell ya. Don’t know how to describe it exactly, but it sure ain’t normal.
They say if ya manage to take ’em all down, there’s this special reward waitin’ for ya, somethin’ called a Submachine gun blueprint. Now, I don’t rightly know what all that fancy blueprint talk means, but if it makes yer gun better, then I reckon it’s worth it, huh?
And here’s somethin’ else — all of this happens in a place they call Al Mazrah. But it ain’t like the normal one you’re used to. No, sir! This place done got itself a makeover, a spooky one at that! It’s nighttime all the time, and the sky looks like somethin’ out of a bad dream. They say the Hellmouth opened up, bringin’ all these otherworldly creatures and evil forces into the mix. It’s like the whole place is haunted, but ya still gotta go out there and fight ’em.
Now, this here event don’t last forever, so you gotta get in while the gettin’s good. They started it on October 17th and it’s all done by November 6th. So if you wanna have a chance at this spooky action, you best not be wastin’ no time. It’s only gonna be here for a short while, then poof, gone like the wind. That’s how these things work in them video games, ya see.
Some folks been sayin’ there’s strange sights all ’round Al Mazrah, like places glowin’ where they shouldn’t be, and things in the sky lookin’ all kinds of unnatural. They call these eldritch anomalies — I reckon that’s just a fancy way of sayin’ somethin’ ain’t right. It’s up to you to go pokin’ ’round, investigatin’ these spooky things and takin’ care of business. Don’t be lettin’ those monsters get the best of ya!
And hey, ya gotta be smart ’bout it too. Take cover when ya need to, make sure ya got good equipment, and for heaven’s sake, keep an eye out for them bosses. They’re tough, but with some grit and determination, you can send ’em back to wherever they crawled out from.
