Okay, so, I wanna tell you guys about my recent adventure with the Terrakion raid in Pokemon Go. I’m not super hardcore into the game, but I like to participate in these raids when I can, you know?
Getting Ready for the Raid
First off, I had to figure out when this Terrakion was gonna show up. From what I read, it pops up in those Legendary Raid eggs. Seemed like it is pretty common. I saw that Terrakion is weak against Flying and Psychic, so that was good to know.
Team Prep
Now, I’m not someone who spends hours perfecting my Pokemon team, but I do have a few strong ones. I made sure I had at least one Pokemon that was, like, fully trained in Super Training. I made sure to choose a few with Psychic and Flying-type moves. Then, just to be safe, I went into the Super Training thing in the game and made sure they were all ready to go, you know, maxed out.
The Battle
So, the day of the raid comes. I find a gym where Terrakion is the boss and I jump in. There were a few other people there, which was great, ’cause these raids are tough solo. We all hopped in, and the battle began.
We started attacking, and I was making sure to use my Pokemons with those Psychic and Flying moves. One strategy I picked up is to just wear down the raid boss as much as possible. My first few Pokemon fainted, but that’s okay, because I had backups ready. The important thing is to keep the damage going.
- Choose the right types. It was pretty obvious, but using Pokemon with type advantages really helped.
- Team up if you can. Having other players in the raid is a lifesaver. Even if you don’t know them, just being in the same raid is a big help.
- Keep attacking. Even if your Pokemon are fainting, just keep sending them out. Every bit of damage counts.
Victory
We kept chipping away at Terrakion, and finally, it went down! It was a close one, but we did it. I’m not gonna lie, I was pretty excited. I threw a ball, caught it in first try, and boom, I had a Terrakion. It’s not the strongest Pokemon in my collection, but it’s definitely a cool one to have.
