Oh, that “Lord of the Rings” thing, you know, them cards from that Magic: The Gathering, huh? Ain’t nothing like it. Folks be talkin’ all about them spoilers, and lemme tell ya, some of ’em sure do stir up a fuss. I seen ’em talkin’ about them Gandalf fella, oh, they say he done come back all powerful and such, Gandalf the White, they call him. Strong as can be, but still got Sauron out there, you know, that dark one. He’s the only one can make Gandalf shake in his boots, I reckon.
But what’s more, they got this Saruman fella too, Saruman the White, but oh, later on they start callin’ him Saruman of Many Colours. Ain’t that somethin’? Now, I don’t know why he needs all them colours, but seems to me he got ideas above his station, tryin’ to boss the other wizards ’round. The folks say he’s supposed to lead them Istari, that’s what they call the wizards, but I reckon he just causes trouble, if you ask me.
Spoilers from the cards
Now, I been hearin’ lots about these new Magic: The Gathering cards, them Tales of Middle-Earth ones. They got them cards with all kinds of powerful folks, you know. Some of ’em, they got Gandalf and Sauron, and them’s the ones people really wanna get their hands on. Them folks that play that Magic game, they get real excited over these spoilers, and I can’t say I blame ’em. You know, if you’re collectin’ somethin’, you wanna know what’s comin’, right?
And then there’s them booster boxes. People buy them boxes hopin’ to find the best cards, but it’s like diggin’ in the dirt hopin’ for gold, I tell ya. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don’t. But them spoilers sure help folks know what to look for, so they ain’t wastin’ their money on things that ain’t worth much. I reckon them cards with them big names like Gandalf or Sauron, well, they probably the ones that folks gonna be after.
What’s on the cards?
I reckon they got all kinds of cards comin’ out in that set. Them spoilers keep tricklin’ in, folks talkin’ ’bout how strong some of them cards is. I seen folks sayin’ that Gandalf the White card is real strong, like he don’t take no nonsense from nobody. But Sauron, oh, he’s the one they really watchin’. They say his card might be the strongest of all, but who knows ’til you see it with your own eyes, right?
- Gandalf the White – strong fella, don’t back down, but still got that Sauron to worry ’bout.
- Saruman – can’t trust that one, all them colours, just causes confusion if you ask me.
- Sauron – now that’s the big one, ain’t nobody messin’ with him if they can help it.
Well, I guess if you’re into them Magic: The Gathering cards, you better keep an eye on them spoilers, ’cause that’s how you know what’s worth it. They always talkin’ ’bout pre-orders and such too, folks tryin’ to get ahead before them prices go up. Seems like them cards be a big deal, but me, I don’t know much ’bout collectin’. I reckon it’s just somethin’ folks do for fun, and as long as they havin’ a good time, who am I to say otherwise?
So, if you like them cards, you best keep an eye on them sites that got the spoilers. They say them prices keep changin’, so it’s best to keep watch if you don’t wanna be payin’ more than you should. Seems like a good way to keep up with what’s new and what’s worth gettin’.
