Okay, so, I’ve been hyped about “Jujutsu Kaisen” season 2, and I know a lot of you are too. I decided to create a countdown timer to keep track of the release. It wasn’t as straightforward as I thought, but I figured it out!
First, I had to look up when the last episode was going to be released. It turns out, it’s December 28th. It was announced way back in February 2022, which feels like ages ago, right? I used that as my target date.
Then, I started playing around with different ways to display the countdown. Initially, I thought about using some fancy visual effects, but then I realized it might be too much. So, I opted for a simple text-based display, showing the days, hours, minutes, and seconds remaining. I wanted something clean and easy to read.
The hardest part was figuring out how to keep the countdown updated in real time. I mean, I had to find a way to make it tick down every second. I tried a few different approaches, and finally, I got it working smoothly. It took some trial and error, but it was totally worth it!
And you know what else I found out? The series director changed from Sunghoo Park to Shōta Goshozono for this season. Also, the character designs are being handled by Sayaka Koiso and Tadashi Hiramatsu. And Yoshimasa Terui is back as the composer, so we’re in for some awesome music.
Oh, and for those who are into the whole simulcast thing, Crunchyroll will have episode 23 available on December 28th at 9 a.m. Pacific Time. That’s 11 a.m. Central Time, for those of us in the middle of the country.
I also spent some time looking into the content of the new season. It looks like it’s going to be pretty intense. I read that there are some brutal scenes, like someone getting stabbed in the leg multiple times. Plus, there are going to be some epic battles between humans and demons, with curse spells and weapons and all that good stuff. It’s definitely not for the faint of heart!
I’m so pumped for this new season. It’s been a long wait, but I think it’s going to be worth it.
